We've been working with Thomson to bring a taste of the real Crete to guests staying at the Sensatori Resort.
Throughout the summer 2012 season, holidaymakers will be invited to experience an evening of authentic Cretan delicacies, and have the opportunity to buy authentic souvenirs.
The weekly Friday ‘Taste of Crete’ evenings will be held in the main restaurant. The events will run from 6.30pm to 10pm, and it is free for guests to attend.
The Taste of Crete evenings offer the chance for the local community to earn a living from tourism.
You can make your next holiday greener, wherever you are going, by choosing to eat and drink in locally run restaurants and cafes that serve local produce, as well as by purchasing authentic locally made souvenirs, so that local communities can benefit from tourism.
