Make Holidays Greener is a campaign led by ABTA, with support from Travelife for Accommodation.
This campaign helps holidaymakers, accommodation providers and tourism business to learn more about greener holidays and encourages us all to take action by making a green holiday pledge.

Travelife is an international sustainability certification scheme for hotels and accommodations with over 1,500 members globally, we are dedicated to helping make tourism more sustainable. Travelife helps them to improve on how they manage their environmental, social and economic impacts, such as reducing energy, water consumption and how they support local people and preserve the local culture of the destination.
The Travelife for Hotels & Accommodations certification criteria also covers issues such as labour and human rights, child protection and employee welfare. Helping to ensure that certified hotels operate fair practices and are working to protect their guests, employees and the local community.
Accommodations that successfully comply with Travelife criteria achieve Travelife Gold certification.
